Pricing will vary from project to project. As an indie developer myself, I know that one of the biggest pains of marketing (besides the time it takes) is the cost. That’s why the three main services outlined on this page come with a small upfront fee,  basically a way to “sign” the agreement, and the rest is metrics-based on a rev-share model, which will never exceed 20%.

The first three services are included in the standard marketing package (Steam page optimization, outreach, and marketing strategy).

It’s hard to estimate the exact cost, since it depends on factors like how many ads you want to run or whether you want me to create social media content for your game versus just managing a posting schedule and strategy. Pricing details can be discussed further during a consultation call.

You’re 100% correct. Everything mentioned on this site can be done by yourself or by members of your studio! Part of the mission of Bicho Project is to encourage and teach developers how to implement these strategies and attract players on their own.

What I offer has two main benefits: I take a time-consuming task off your hands so you can focus on development, and your game’s marketing is handled by someone with professional marketing experience.

But if you feel confident doing this yourself, I encourage you to go for it! I also have educational content about marketing on my YouTube channel.

I’m not a publisher in any way, shape, or form! I don’t believe it’s productive for indies to tie themselves up in contracts that take a large portion of revenue, and in some cases, even IP ownership. I’m an individual with marketing experience who wants to work directly with other developers and studios to help grow their games.

I will never ask for high rev-share distribution or ownership of your IP. That said, if working with a publisher makes the most sense for you, since they sometimes pay upfront, I’m not saying you shouldn’t go for it. That’s the beauty of indie development: we’re free to choose the path that works best for each individual case.
